"Where do I start with the Franco link? It might just be my most reached for link, for simple daily wear. The simplicity of a Franco works for standalone wear or with a pendant - it doesn't discriminate, because it has such a sturdy construction. I would say this: For pendant wear, go with a pendant that isn't on the heavier side, because even though it's a super sturdy link - part of it's allure is the uniformity of that seamless flow of chevron linked metal. So, I think that seeing a pendant weigh down a Franco link too heavily undermines the perception of it's strength. That's just my preference and style tip, but rock yours however you feel most inspired to."

Fit & Styling

For bracelet sizing, measure your wrist and compare it with your preferred bracelet length, allowing room for your desired fit. For necklaces, use a cord or measuring tape to preview where each length will sit.

For a layered look, pair two necklace lengths, such as 20″ and 22″, to give each chain its own space and let the Franco’s chevron pattern stand out.

For pendant wear, check both the pendant’s bail opening and the chain’s end fittings before purchasing. Chain width alone does not establish compatibility. Your founder’s note above offers a styling preference, not a pendant-weight guarantee.

Care

Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth after wear. Remove before swimming, bathing, exercise, and household cleaning, and keep away from perfumes, lotions, and harsh chemicals. Store clean and dry, separately from other jewelry.

Sterling silver can naturally tarnish. Before using silver dips, abrasive polishing products, steam, or ultrasonic cleaning, confirm that the method is suitable for this piece’s finish.
